The Transfer Station (Landfill) will operate with the following regular winter hours:
- Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

October 25 & 26: Tree/Branch Pickup
Due to last week’s snowfall the city will add another tree and brush pickup event for Thursday, October 25 and Friday, October 26.
Tree limbs and sticks will be picked up if:
- Wood pile is created near the regular garbage pick-up
- Wood size is 4” in diameter or less.
- The pickup is scheduled by calling Public Works at 845-0380.
You can also drop residential trees at the 24 hour access collection site west of Transfer Station at 11490 35th St. SE
Labor Day Closings & Garbage Schedule
Office Closings: Labor Day
The Transfer Station will be closed on Saturday, September 1st. The Public Works and City Hall offices and Transfer Station (landfill) will be closed on Monday, September 3rd, for Labor Day.
Garbage Schedule: Week of September 3, 2018
Monday’s garbage will be picked up on Tuesday, Sept. 4th. Tuesday and Wednesday’s garbage will both be picked up on Wednesday, Sept. 8th. The rest of the week will be the normal pick up schedule. Garbage should be put out by 7:00 AM.
New Rates & Fees Approved for Solid Waste Services
The City Commission approved new rates for the Public Works Solid Waste Services for a billing issued on or after March 5, 2018.
